This is a plea for anyone who has good ideas to share on how to begin working with a 6 year-old Polish child with no English & who has never been to school. Polish children don't go to school until age 7. I'm sure there are tons of ideas out there which have been tried & proved successful. No point in us all re-inventing the wheel! Let's share & help the children & keep down the teacher stress!
I've found that boardmaker allows you to use 2 languages ie English & Polish so am just about to investigate the possibilities of that. "Instant Display" also has some good stuff in Polish.

The idea of a blog is great. I hope that it encourages teachers to share good practice and ideas.

Hi
I really love the whole idea of the blog. Anything that gets teachers talking and sharing ideas has to be good.
Looking forward to seeing what other colleagues think.
