Where does the ACE Development team fit into ACfE ?
Introduction September 28th, 2006Working closely and liasing with other Curriculum Development Teams: Determined to Succeed, Assessment is For Learning and ICT.
Working closely with schools by
• Providing practical assistance with assistance with planning, teaching and coaching.
• Leading, identifying and developing innovative practice.
• Facilitating the sharing of effective practice.
• Researching, planning and coordinating opportunities that will support professional development.
Working with Learning & Teaching Scotland to keep up to date with what is happening in other Authorities.
Keeping links with A Curriculum for Excellence and the National Priorities.
Having an up to date knowledge of what is happening in the development of a Curriculum for Excellence & coordinating the information.

I have passed the site on to staff - hopefully it can generate an ACE community which will be helpful to all .

We are currently involved in the Rich Tasks of Mysteries Inc. and the P7 pupils and teachers have been really well supported by the ACE Development team.
